Reviews of relevant literature, websites, software, systems, and books related to electronic services will be considered for publication in the e-Service Journal. Reviews should:

  • Focus on literature, sites, software, and books that are relevant to e-services and widely available.

  • Briefly summarize key ideas/aspects of the target literature, site, software, or book.

  • Highlight key strengths and weaknesses of the target.

  • Evaluate the relevance of the target for individuals, organizations, or society. For example, why and how is this site or book important for, say, a consumer?

  • Include complete information about the target(s):

    • For books: title of the book, author, publisher, publication date, number of pages, price (if available), and ISBN number.

    • For journal articles: title of the journal, authors, volume/issue number, year of publication, and page numbers.

    • For websites: name of the site, organization represented, publication date, cost to use site (if any), and URL.

    • For software/systems: title/name, vendor name, version number, release date, price (if available), and platforms.

Reviews should not exceed 40 pages typed, double-spaced; pages should be numbered and follow the format below:

  • Page 1: Title of review and names of all authors including their complete addresses (institution, mailing address, phone and fax numbers, and e-mail address).

  • Page 2: Title of review and information about target literature, site, software, or book (see above).

  • Page 3: Title of review and beginning of main body of the review.
