Research articles may cover a wide range of topics related to the broadly-defined areas of e-business or e-government (see Scope & Coverage of the journal for examples) and employ any of a variety of methodologies including case studies, field studies, surveys, laboratory experiments, action research, simulations, mathematical derivations, and theoretical essays. Articles that focus on technical descriptions of systems or software should explicitly address how such systems or software are relevant to individuals, organizations, or society.

Research articles should not exceed 40 typed, double-spaced pages including references and attachments. Pages should be numbered and follow the format below:

• Page 1: Title of paper and names of all authors, including their complete addresses (institution, mailing address, phone and fax numbers, and e-mail address).

• Page 2: Title of paper, an abstract of 300 words or less, and five keywords.

• Page 3: Title of paper and beginning of main body of paper. Do not include any identifying information in the main body of the paper.
