The purpose of practice articles is to encourage authors to examine and describe organizations, communities, systems, and events in the broad realm of e-business and e-government. These descriptive experiences can educate and inform others dealing with similar issues, coping with similar problems, or seeking similar outcomes. Good practice articles should go beyond merely describing current or past situations - they should also analyze these situations. Such analyses can yield useful information for practitioners and researchers. Practitioners should be able to get insights for solving similar problems, while researchers can gain by ideas to be tested formally. For instance, authors describing the experiences of Hewlett Packard-an innovator in the area of e-services-can, with appropriate caution, offer insights that can be useful to other organizations and provide starting points that can be useful to researchers. Practice articles should not exceed 30 pages typed, double-spaced including references and attachments. Pages should be numbered and follow the format below:
